Store-shelf sprays buy you a few quiet days; Nex Pest Control's Pest Control technicians treat the source so the problem doesn't just come back after the can runs out.
Ask any Petoskey technician on our team how long they've worked structural pest control and you'll get a real number, not a script — experience is the whole reason our diagnosis is faster than a guess-and-spray visit.
Every technician we send out is licensed under state pest control regulations and covered by our company's insurance, so you're never gambling on who's walking through your door.
Nex Pest Control runs on one rule: quote it straight, treat the actual cause, and back it in writing. That's not a slogan — it's the reason Petoskey repeat customers call us back for the next issue instead of shopping around.
None of this replaces an actual on-site inspection, but knowing Petoskey's pest patterns ahead of time means fewer wasted visits and faster answers for you.
Here's what tends to show up right before a Petoskey homeowner finally picks up the phone.
One of these alone might be nothing. Two or three together, in the same week, usually means it's time to call rather than wait it out. Waiting rarely makes the underlying colony smaller — it just gives it more time to spread into places that are harder and more expensive to treat.
Six service lines, one Petoskey crew — here's what we're dispatched for most.
When the situation can't wait — an active hive, a sudden swarm, a rodent loose near food prep — Nex Pest Control's after-hours crew treats it with the same license and insurance as any scheduled visit, just faster. Weekend and holiday calls get routed the same way as a Tuesday afternoon call — there's no separate, slower queue for off-hours.
We treat the foundation line, utility entry points, and interior hot spots of Petoskey homes on a schedule built around what your specific property actually attracts, not a generic quarterly template. Plans can be adjusted mid-season if a Petoskey property starts attracting something new — the schedule isn't locked once it's set.
Commercial Pest Control accounts get discreet placements and a paper trail — every visit logged, every finding reported, so you're never caught off guard by an inspector's question. Multi-location Petoskey accounts get one consistent point of contact instead of juggling separate vendors per site.
We check the soil line, crawl space, and framing for mud tubes and wood-to-soil contact, then recommend either a liquid barrier or bait station system based on what's actually found. Liquid barrier treatments are mapped along the entire foundation line, not just the section where damage was first spotted.
Trapping without sealing the entry point just means a new rodent moves in within weeks — every Petoskey rodent job includes finding and closing the actual gap, not just setting traps. Exclusion materials include hardware cloth, steel wool, and sealant rated for permanent structural gaps, not a temporary patch.
We'll flag chronic water sources on your Petoskey property — a clogged gutter, an old planter — that keep re-seeding the population no matter how often we spray. A separate granular tick treatment along the yard perimeter can be bundled in for properties near wooded lots.
Call +1-844-564-2570 and tell us what you're seeing — most Petoskey calls get a same-day window. Tell dispatch what you've noticed and where — it helps us send a technician already prepared for the likely cause.
We confirm the species and the source before recommending anything — no guesswork treatment. Inspection covers both interior hot spots and the exterior perimeter, not just the room where you noticed activity.
The price we quote on site is the price on the invoice, full stop. If the scope changes once we're inside, that gets quoted separately before we proceed, never added silently.
If anything's still active after the guarantee window, we're back at no extra charge. Follow-up visits are already on the calendar before the technician leaves, not something you have to call back to arrange.
You approve one number before we start — no hourly clock running while a technician works. If something changes mid-visit, we stop and re-quote before continuing, rather than adjusting the bill after the fact.
Local dispatch means less drive time and more slots available for Petoskey same-day calls. Dispatch can usually give you a two-hour arrival window rather than an all-day wait.
We'll provide proof of licensing and insurance on request, before anyone steps inside. Insurance coverage protects your property in the rare event something goes wrong — most companies won't tell you that upfront.
If the treated pest is still active after the guarantee window, we come back and re-treat at no charge. Ask your technician for the specific guarantee window that applies to your treatment before they leave.
True around-the-clock coverage means an urgent call at 2am gets the same response as one at 2pm. Emergency pricing is quoted just as clearly as a daytime visit — urgency never means a hidden markup.
Our technicians have inspected enough Petoskey attics and crawl spaces to know what's typical for your street before they even arrive. It's the difference between a generic national script and a plan built around what actually happens in Petoskey.
Our guarantee is simple: pay for a result, not just a visit. If activity continues at your Petoskey property after treatment, follow-up service is included, not billed separately.
This isn't a lifetime promise on every pest forever, but within the stated window it's unconditional — no forms to fill out, no argument about whether it counts. We'd rather absorb the cost of an extra visit than lose a Petoskey customer's trust over a technicality in the fine print.
The flat quote before treatment was the deciding factor for us — no surprise line items on the invoice afterward.

They found a clogged gutter section holding water that we never would have thought to check ourselves.
Ant trail kept coming back every summer no matter what we sprayed ourselves — turned out to be a single foundation crack the technician sealed in one visit.
Our property management company needed a standing service across six units and Nex Pest Control set up one consistent schedule with a single point of contact.
